あらすじ English
A young architect Ivan comes to a provincial town from Moscow at the invitation of a major customer, Mayor Kiryanov. Katya, the mayor's 17-year-old daughter, immediately falls in love with him. And all the wishes of the charming spoiled girl are sure to come true - there will be a wedding. But Ivan's heart is already taken - by the customer's daughter-in-law Elena, the wife of his eldest son. The forbidden love is mutual, but it is unlikely that the influential family will forgive and understand.
