Tell the Future That We Are Coming (2025)

줄거리 English

In the remote town of Makthar, nestled in the mountains of northwestern Tunisia, an extraordinary social and educational experiment is transforming lives. GreenSchool is the powerful story of how the NGO Wallah We Can set out to reinvent the future of education in rural areas by turning a struggling public school into a self-sufficient, environmentally friendly, and economically viable institution. With renewable energy systems, sustainable farming, and a holistic approach to student well-being, the school becomes a beacon of innovation-providing nutritious food, generating its own power, and creating income to support its operations. Driven by this success, the initiative scales up: over 400 hectares of land are acquired near Bizerte to build a large-scale farm designed to fund the rehabilitation of a hundred more schools across Tunisia. But the ambition doesn't stop there. The GreenSchool model is now poised to cross borders, inspiring a global movement focused on impact, autonomy, and respect for children's rights. This documentary takes viewers to the heart of a human adventure where every day is a battle against inequality, and every victory is a step toward a more just, sustainable, and child-centered future. A compelling portrait of vision, resilience, and hope, GreenSchool is not just a film-it's the beginning of a revolution in education.
