剧情简介 English

A 12-episode documentary series telling the fascinating story of Greek recorded music - a journey spanning over a century, from the birth of Greek discography to the present day. From the era of the phonograph and the wandering "grammofonatzides" of the early 20th century, through the golden age of 45s and jukeboxes in the '60s, to vinyl LPs, CDs, and the digital age. Guiding this musical journey is Haris Alexiou - one of the most iconic and beloved voices of her generation, who has left an indelible mark on Greek music and the recording industry. With the invaluable support of the ERT Archives and first-hand accounts from people who experienced the golden decades of Greek music, the series maps the evolution of Greek song as it was etched into the grooves of its records.
