The Italian sailing champion Giovanni Soldini, renowned for his solo crossings and speed records, sets off on his final round-the-world journey aboard the ultralight Maserati trimaran. On board the hull designed to fly over the water, he and his crew will sail across the planet's three oceans and traverse the most remote, beautiful, and threatened areas of the seas. The racing cycle of the famous Italian sailor will take him to incredible places and the edges of the world, dragging him into an adventure that goes beyond sport; a perfect narrative springboard that, through cross-cutting editing, will turn into a full-fledged story retracing the sailor's life - from his early days on a sailboat to the dreams he still relentlessly chases.
